Brussels International Airport

Brussels International Airport (BRU) is located 3 km from EASTI. It has 200 cabin baggage and 60 hold baggage screeners responsible for the security control of 15.6 M passengers and 252 000 flights in 2004 and 86,6 M passengers and 1,4 M flights in the last five years.

Brussels airport is known for its state-of-the art security technology, using modern equipment, while also investing into human factors to increase efficiency in airport security screening.

Specific role in the project:

• Provides information for the project exploration phase;
• Provides screeners for the study on measurement of training effectiveness with adaptive CBT;
• Valorisation activities.
